Virginia Birchfield, met in the home ot Mxs. Horace Daugh- drill on Wednesday. The president, Mrs. H. H. Batson called the meeting to order. MYs. D'attghdrill read Psalm 100, and Mrs. Pridgen led in prayer. A discussion for our flower and vegetable show was tabled until efter our Council meeting. Nation- al Home Demonstration Week will be first or second week in May. "me County Attianment Day has not been set. District Style Show will be April 22 in Hattiesburg, at YMCA. The District Home Demonstration Coun- cil will be May 5. at Jones County Junior College, Ellisville, and the Agent urged every District officer to attend. Mrs. C. Ramsay gave the study topic: "Growth and Expansion of Home Demonstration Work." Mrs. Virginia Birthfield gave demon- stration on flower arrangements, pot plants, and care, which every- one enjoyed, as they learned lots from the deanonstration.
